Located in the quiet suburb of Gledhow, just a short drive from Leeds city centre, Gledhow Nursing Home supports 51 residents with nursing care in a homely and welcoming environment. We can provide individuals with both long-term and short-term care, dependant on their needs and preferences.

Round the clock nursing care, is provided to our residents at Gledhow, tailored to each of their individual needs. We provide specialist nursing care for those with medical needs, whether that’s a long-term illness or disability.

We are very fortunate to be supported by a dedicated Chaplain who offers pastoral support to residents, staff and friends & family members, regardless of their beliefs. The chaplain provides a listening presence, companionship, one-to-one pastoral support and organises worship for those who wish to participate.

Gledhow Nursing Home offers a calm and well-connected setting just 10 minutes from Leeds city centre. Residents benefit from nearby green spaces like Roundhay Park and local amenities on the nearby high street. We have close links with GP surgeries, district nurses, and dentists. We also provide regular gentle exercise sessions, massage, and reflexology. Our in-house hair salon keeps everyone looking their best, and uplifting visits from a local nursery keep us all young at heart.

At Gledhow, the cost per week will depend upon a Care Needs Assessment carried out by our Home Manager. We are also able to accept residents who are receiving Continuing Healthcare funding.
