Betsy Clara House Nursing Home

Betsy Clara House in Maidstone is a dementia nursing home providing individual care to 50 residents with long-term or short-term care requirements. We support a variety of care needs including dementia, mental health conditions, old age, challenging behaviours and Parkinson's.

Wonderful facilities are available to our residents at Betsy Clara House including a spacious main lounge and dining area on the ground floor and a smaller quiet lounge which is ideal for reading and relaxing. On the first floor, we have a further lounge and smaller dining area which we encourage residents to make use of.

All of our residents have a unique care plan at Betsy Clara House which takes their individual care needs and preferences into account. Our staff work with residents, their families and professionals involved in their care when putting the plan together. We regularly review each resident's care plan to make sure it is up to date and adjusted accordingly.

We are fortunate to have a full-time Activities Coordinator at Betsy Clara House who is dedicated to making sure that our residents keep active and live an interesting life. We enjoy a wide variety of activities including bingo, chair exercises, singing, arts & crafts and animal therapy sessions.
