Arbour Court Care Home

Arbour Court Care Home is situated in the picturesque town of Marple, Cheshire. Providing round the clock nursing care and specialist dementia care to a maximum of 60 residents. Caring for people over the age of 55, all of whom have their own comfortably furnished bedroom, complete with en-suite bathroom.

For residents with nursing needs we have a team of dedicated Nurses, supported by Care Assistants, on duty 24-hours a day. No matter what your nursing needs, we will be able to support you to live comfortably. Residents are supported with their own personalised care plans and their individual wishes are respected by everybody involved in the delivery of their care.

Dementia care is provided in our Memory Lane Community; care is based on the individual needs of residents as well as incorporating the latest advancements in dementia care. Family members of residents with dementia are encouraged to take an active role in their family member’s care. It is really helpful to staff if family members share information about their relative’s life history, enabling ‘Getting to Know Me’ booklets and ‘Memory Boxes’ to be made.

We are very lucky to have our own dedicated Activities Coordinator - it is their privilege to get to know all our residents and plan activities based on their interests. Our residents are encouraged to ‘get out and about’ and supported to partake in regular outings. We also love inviting local community groups and entertainers into see us here at Arbour Court Care Home. No matter the occasion, you can be certain that we will be celebrating - be it Easter, Christmas, a Royal wedding or a resident’s birthday!

Food is an extremely important part of staying healthy, our home Chefs take great pride in preparing delicious meals for the residents to enjoy. Individual dietary requirements and tastes are accounted for and the Chef’s welcome feedback from the residents! Family members of residents are very welcome to come and join us for meal-times.

Arbour Court Care Home's weekly fee will depend upon the complexity of the individual's care requirements. We may be able to accept residents who are funded by their local authority but this will need to be discussed with our Home Manager. As well as long-term care, we can also support people who are looking for short-term care and who require end of life care.
