Wheatfield Court

Wheatfield Court Care Home is situated in pleasant surroundings in the Westerhope area of Newcastle, within easy reach of the Durham Heritage Coast to the north, and the North Yorkshire coast to the south.

The Wheatfield team work very hard to accommodate the needs of all the residents. For those who have a strong sense of independence, the Home has good access to local amenities and transport links. At the same time, there are many activities to enjoy in-house. Whatever their preferences, we encourage all residents to remain physically and mentally active, to the best of their ability.

We have a wide range of residents, with varying capabilities and needs, and for those with more complex needs we provide nursing packages that are maintained by an advanced Care Team, with respite and palliative services also available.

We are very proud of the service we offer at Wheatfield. Our dedicated staff adopt a whole-team approach and a family-orientated attitude in delivering a caring and compassionate service. There is a strong bond between the residents and staff, many of whom have been with us a very long time. We work hard to create respectful relationships with families, visitors and professionals.
