Waterside Care Centre

Waterside Care Home is a specialist dementia unit where all staff members are fully trained to provide a uniquely different experience for individuals requiring 24-hour nursing dementia care. We can support those looking for nursing, daycare, respite or palliative care.

At Waterside, we provide a supportive, dementia-friendly environment for our residents. Our home has been adapted to reflect the most up to date research-based practices including the adaptation of the environment to provide the best possible care for people with dementia.

Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges, conservatory, and beautiful gardens. Outside, there is a large lawn surrounded by trees, patios, and sensory gardens where residents can enjoy the fresh air and views. We also have bird tables, greenhouses, and chickens. These areas are great places to relax, socialize, and invite family and friends when they visit.

Each of the single bedrooms at Waterside Care Home has a garden view along with its own WC and sink. They also have TV aerial sockets meaning that residents can watch television in the comfort of their bedroom. There are communal bathrooms with assisted baths or shower rooms on each floor of the home.
