Mowbray Nursing Home

Mowbray provides nursing, residential, respite and end of life care in a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Trained caring staff are on hand to help our residents maintain good health, dignity and respect 24 hours a day.

Outside our Mowbray home, there are attractive gardens with a considerable lawn encircled by trees and a surplus of seating areas where residents can appreciate the fresh air and gorgeous views. There is a wheelchair-accessible patio with numerous bird tables and feeders, supplying lots of wildlife entertainment. Raised flower beds are available for residents who enjoy a spot of gardening.

At Mowbray, all of our residents have a bedroom, some with the luxury of en-suite facilities. Most of the bedrooms are single but we do have some double bedrooms which are suitable for couples to share. All residents have their own individual call buttons if they require assistance at any time. We have our own laundry facility so all clothing gets the best of attention.

Dining is a jovial occasion here at Mowbray and our dining room is warm and welcoming. The tables are laid with fresh linen and our menus are on display to show the options available. Residents are prompted to eat in the dining room but
can decide to eat in their own room if they wish. We encourage family and friends to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime. We also cater for special celebrations for our residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.
