Waltham House

The traditional Cotswold stone house is situated along a leafy lane just off Stoke Hill, near the well-known Durdham Downs. The warm welcoming hallway has a traditional homely feel and leads through to a light and airy lounge. The tastefully decorated dining room creates the feel of an elegant guesthouse and features a striking wooden fireplace and a large bay window. Waltham House enjoys a quiet residential location but is close to Druid Hill, Blackboy Hill and Westbury village, apart from the close proximity of the vast and lush Downs.

Waltham House provides care for people who either require General Nursing Care or respite care.

During meal times, all activities – apart from serving and assisting with food – are stopped so that our Residents can enjoy their meals in a relaxed environment without interruptions. We call this ‘protected meal times’.

We encourage family members/representatives to join our Residents for mealtimes, either to accompany or assist our Residents if they need help. For this, we ask for a nominal contribution to our Resident’s Fund, which is used to enhance the activities and entertainment we provide.
