Sydmar Lodge

Sydmar Lodge is a lovely residential care home in the heart of Edgware and the local Mill Hill community. Our home has 52 en-suite bedrooms, a spacious dining room, a library and two stylish lounges where residents can relax in comfort.

We are proud of our traditions which are so often forgotten in the pace of modern life. Sydmar Lodge is a Jewish home that is very flexible and welcomes everyone regardless of religious observance. We prefer to leave it up to residents to follow the level of observance according to personal and family traditions. Sydmar Lodge has forged strong links with the local community, with regular visits from schools, charity groups and the Synagogue.

As well as offering space and quiet areas, Sydmar Lodge is designed to provide maximum comfort and support. Each floor is serviced by two large lifts which can accommodate two wheelchairs as well as handrails in the halls.

Residents can benefit from hydrotherapy massages using specialist baths that have rising chairs and side opening doors to enable easy access.

Our care team is always around, providing as much or as little help required, giving our residents and their families’ confidence and completing peace of mind. ​We have a team of dedicated carers who are trained in helping when residents need assistance and boosting their confidence to do things independently wherever possible.

We are always there for our residents. We work out an agreed care plan, regularly reviewed to ensure we meet your expectations and to address any changes when necessary.
