Somerset House Nursing Home is a family led nursing home in the beautiful Yorkshire village of Wheldrake. The highly trained staff team offer person-centred nursing, residential, respite and day care, getting to know each resident individually in order to provide home from home care in a comfortable and caring setting.
Here at Somerset House Nursing Home we have accommodation for up to 41 residents, we offer nursing and residential care. Our beautiful 19th Century House features en-suite bedrooms, four lounges and a separate dining area & conservatory for residents to relax in. We also have a central courtyard and scented garden for those who wish to spend time outdoors.
Before becoming a resident at Somerset House our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
