Shinfield View Care Home

We are delighted to welcome you to our care home in Shinfield, Reading where we offer residents the chance to experience luxury living and exceptional care. We provide residential, dementia, respite and day care in a stimulating, beautiful environment. We are very proud of what we have created here and judging by the response we have had, so are our residents, families and our local community.

There are many things which set Shinfield View apart from other care homes. You can find out more about it on this website and in our brochure, which can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. There are two main differences which I believe stand out and help to shape our ethos:

Firstly, we offer one clear, all-inclusive weekly price to our residents. This enables them and their families to plan ahead, without worrying about additional or unexpected charges.

Secondly, we are very selective when recruiting our staff and in return for them being the best at what they do, we have made a commitment to pay everyone above the living wage. We believe this is a first in the local market and ensures a happy environment within the home, while recognising the value of the care profession.
