Riverdale Care Home in Braintree, Essex provides round the clock residential, nursing, respite, and dementia care. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day.

Our care home is located in picturesque surroundings on the bank of the River Brain. Riverdale Care Home offers a unique and varied list of hotel-inspired facilities including 24-hour room service, a library, spa, hair salon and cinema room. All rooms are ensuite and we have double rooms to accommodate couples.

All the residents have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas including the cafe, fine dining room for entertaining friends and family, and even a traditional pub to enjoy the evening in. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. We offer a varied range of social activities to participate in a group and one to one activities of interest to the individual. Residents are encouraged to have maximum choice and control of their lives and some residents take part in hobby groups and activities outside the home.
