The New Deanery Care Home

The New Deanery Care Home in Braintree provides residential care and respite care. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day.

Set in a lovely historic house within 10 acres of land, we encourage our residents to maintain their independence and quality of life as much as possible with the help of our friendly team of carers.

Here at The New Deanery, we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. Expect to see pamper sessions, gardening, arts & crafts, singing, reminiscence time, afternoon tea and much more on the activities schedule!

Good nutrition and hydration are important parts of staying well as we age. The New Deanery is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions! Our wonderful catering team have even won awards for nutrition and hydration so you can be assured that your loved ones dietary needs will be taken great care of.

We are also proud to have received a PAMMS accreditation with a “Good” rating, further underscoring our commitment to providing high-quality care.
