Morgannwg House Nursing Home

Morgannwg house was built around 1804 in the traditional Georgian style, a Grade II listed building, the main house has undergone total conversion to meet modern standards whilst maintaining the beautiful Georgian decor.

The home is run 24 hours a day by our registered care manager and a team of well trained staff as we feel residents benefit from a close relationship with our staff making their stay as comfortable as possible.

The residents' rooms are both spacious and elegant, each single room has an en suite facilities and nurse call system, residents also have the option to have their own telephone lines connected. A number of the rooms are large suites enjoying magnificent views of the garden and the national park. Morgannwg House has two spacious sitting rooms and a dining room with a conservatory which look out onto the beautiful gardens, all within a very short walking distance from the town centre.
Many residents continue under the care of their own doctor or they may register with the local GP. Other professionals such as opticians, dentists and chiropodists etc visit the home to provide complimentary services.

We offer a range of activities for the residents which their families and friends are encouraged to participate in and we arrange for a selection of newspapers to be delivered to the home. We provide a varied menu which includes a cooked breakfast, and traditional home cooking using the freshest meat, vegetables and fruit delivered by the finest local suppliers catering for all special dietary requirements.
