Meadbank Nursing Centre provides care ranging from long term nursing care to short respite stays. Staff can provide nursing dementia care as well as convalescence and rehabilitation care for those recovering from an accident, illness or operation, palliative care, and care for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Meadbank has recently been extensively refurbished to a high standard and has 24 hour call systems throughout the home. Each bedroom has been individually decorated, and is made more comfortable thanks to the addition of Thermostatic radiators.

Fresh food is used to make nutritional meals every day and homemade cakes are also prepared daily.

As well as regular activities such as gardening, cooking and gentle exercise sessions, residents can take part in regular trips to local places of interest. The home welcomes musical entertainers from the local community, holding regular events which friends and family are encouraged to attend.

Important Covid-19 Update

The elderly and frail are especially vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus, care providers are putting in place a range of measures to deal with the situation and safeguard those who use their services.
