Cypress Court

Cypress Court is conveniently situated in the town with local shops just five minutes’ walk away. Bus and train links are both around a mile-and-a-half from our home.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing and eating, along with general nursing care for people with more complex medical conditions. We also offer specialist residential care for those living with dementia and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Residents are at the heart of life at Cypress Court and we’re very proud of our home’s lively social atmosphere.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our activities coordinators run a busy programme with lots of variety each day including local entertainers, outings into town and visits from nearby nursery school children.

For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.
