Cowbridge Residential Care Home

Cowbridge is a residential care home for permanent residents where we look after people with dementia with the love and respect they would receive from their own families.

The original building was owned by a local family before it was bought by Cornwallis Care Services and converted into a nursing home. Since that time we have added an extension providing us with another 15 rooms. The surrounding grounds allow us to cater for families who wish to walk with their loved ones outside in the good weather or if they prefer they can sit in our enclosed patio.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Here at Cowbridge we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.
