Whitehall Road is a 6-bedded supported living facility in the Harrow area. Whitehall Road is a Supported Living Service for adults with mental health, aimed to support individuals access and maintain their accommodation and maintain their independence and wellbeing through structured support.
The service is for adult residents with any mental health issue as a primary diagnosis and is aimed at those with low to medium support needs who need support to maintain their home and access appropriate services in the community.
The service aims to support people with regard to the following:
- Identifying and accessing suitable housing
- Medication prompting and administration
- Setting up and maintaining a home
- Ensure suitability of living accommodation
- Manage finances including budgeting and claiming benefits
- Attend meetings and appointments including planning and scheduling
- Form filling and writing letters
- Understanding the principle of ‘Keeping Safe’
- Develop independent living skills managing medication and a healthy lifestyle
- Improve and maintain emotional wellbeing through social engagement and personal relationships Service opening hours
- Accessing and engaging with appropriate services including leisure, training, volunteering and employment
Our service will operate 24 hours a day: 7am to 10pm, with night staff on site and access to out of hours on call.
All new clients will be assessed according to their needs. Our staff will carry out both a risk assessment and a needs assessment and then agree a support plan for the client.
We will need a risk assessment to be provided for every referral where possible.
Our service is designed specifically to help enable clients to become more independent and able to manage their housing and be part of the community.
Our staff will create a personalised activity plan together with the client which includes both the support we agree to offer to help enable the client better manage their affairs.
