At Candlewood House care home, we provide a range of care types to support the diverse needs of our residents. From residential care for those seeking a supportive and comfortable environment to specialised dementia care for individuals requiring extra assistance, our dedicated and compassionate staff are committed to delivering personalised care tailored to each resident's unique requirements.

We believe in promoting an active and engaging lifestyle for our residents. Our extensive activities program offers a variety of options to suit different interests and abilities. From fitness classes and outings to cultural events and arts and crafts sessions, there's always something to keep our residents stimulated and engaged.

At Candlewood House, the design of our home and its entire operation are dedicated to the cause of each resident’s physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing – with highly-trained carers and nurses on hand 24 hours a day to provide assistance to meet the needs and wishes of each resident as an individual.

The home has a mixture of single and double fully-furnished rooms, with well over half being equipped with en suite facilities. We also have a lovely secure courtyard area, the centrepiece of which is a superb water feature, specifically designed to be soothing for those residents with more advanced dementia.

Food is important to all of us and so our in-house chefs prepare a delicious freshly cooked menu three times a day (with choices available), and snacks and drinks are readily available at any time.
