Wessex Lodge Nursing Home

Wessex Lodge is a modern purpose-built home for 40 residents, specifically designed to meet the needs of older residents requiring nursing care.

It extends over three floors, with each of the bedrooms providing en-suite facilities, whilst some of the ground floor rooms have access via patio doors onto the gardens. All bedrooms have modern safety features and include a 24-hour nurse call system, thermostatic controls and smoke detectors.

The building has furnished lounges and a dining room, which has been tastefully decorated and provides relaxing meeting areas for residents and their guests. Outside, the garden and patio areas offer residents a chance to relax in warmer weather.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Wessex Lodge. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
