Welcome to The Oaks Care Home, a very friendly place where we aim to make sure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible. We have plenty to offer you - such as excellent accommodation, delicious home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and comfortable. It is important to us that you feel relaxed and welcome, and that your relatives are confident you are being well supported.

The Oaks Care Home also boasts the exclusive Acorn Unit which provides an area of exclusivity with 4 executive suites all with their own facilities. Please contact us on the details below for more information about the Acorn Wing.

The Oaks Home was acquired by New Century Care in August 1995. Registered for 61 people, the home offers a mix of single and double rooms, on two floors, serviced by a lift. The Oaks care for people with general nursing, care and specialised needs.

Here at The Oaks we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.
