Collisdene Care Home

Collisdene Care Centre stands in well appointed grounds with views over Strathaven Park and surrounding countryside. The Centre is a short walk from the heart of Strathaven with its excellent variety of local shops easily accessible via public transport.

The care home is registered to provide 24 hour individualised nursing care to adults of all ages with Learning Disabilities including physical and sensory impairment and a separate unit specialising in care of the elderly with provision for dementia care. All accommodation is furnished to the highest standard; all rooms are single with the majority having ensuite facilities.

Our priority is making our residents feel at home in a safe and welcoming environment, we have an excellent care team experienced and motivated to support each individual to reach their own potential backed up with nursing expertise, caring for body and soul. Our dedicated management team work hard to ensure high standards are maintained, which is reflected in our consistently good grading’s from the Care Inspectorate.

Here at Collisdene Care Home we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.
