Woodlands Court Care Home

Woodlands Court offers exemplary care for the elderly in all forms, including residential, dementia, and respite care. We follow a person-centred approach with all of our residents, which helps give them a sense of purpose and improve their self-worth and self-esteem. We believe that we provide a happy and homely environment for our residents and that our caring and competent staff are the next best thing to being at home.

Woodlands Court is a stone's throw away from Wigan Town Centre, Haigh Hall Country Park and Trencherfield Mill. We are fortunate to have great transport links and even have a bus stop at the entrance of our driveway which is incredibly convenient for visitors.

At Woodlands Court, we have a variety of day rooms and a spacious lounge area where residents relax and socialise with one another and participate in activities. Residents can follow their hobbies, watch television, listen to music or read in our communal and quiet lounges.

Outdoors, there are beautiful, well-tended enclosed gardens with an abundance of seating areas where residents can enjoy some fresh air. There is a sheltered wheelchair accessible patio with numerous bird tables and feeders, providing plenty of wildlife entertainment. Raised beds are provided for residents who enjoy participating in our gardening activities.

All residents also have their own single bedroom, some of which have en-suite facilities. Our residents are welcome to make their rooms their own with decorations and personal belongings. The bedrooms all have a television point if your loved one would like to bring a tv with them. We do also have double rooms for couples to share.
