Our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and mini bus trips. We also offer complementary therapies to interested residents.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Westwood House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Westwood House. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. Care homes have mostly cancelled all but essential visits to the home. They are providing telephone-based assessments and placing controls on admissions. Home care & live-in care providers are still delivering care in the community but have a huge demand for support at this time.
