Westbourne Care Home

Westbourne has been providing residential care for over 30 years and it is set in a quiet residential location within walking distance of Robinswood Hill in Gloucester. It has been carefully restored and extended to the highest possible standard and is set in beautiful secluded gardens.

At Westbourne the care staff are warm and well trained and they use their experience to provide high quality person centred care, they are on hand 24 hours a day to support those who call Westbourne home. We listen to our residents however frail they are to make sure that we are meeting their varied needs.

We have 35 bedrooms, many of which look out onto the lovely gardens. Our communal areas are bright and airy with three separate living rooms and a separate dining space. Our specialist bath and showering equipment is superb and the home enjoys the benefits of being very established combined with new modern facilities.

Our divisional therapists (activities coordinators) actively involve our residents in social activities as they choose. There are seasonal events, simple armchair exercises and games from reminiscence groups to bingo, and also hand & foot massage with aromatherapy. Trips out are also arranged as often as possible. There are strong links with local churches for regular services and Westbourne enjoys visits from local schools and children's groups from the local community.
