Bringing first-class care to Kent and East Sussex Wadhurst Manor is one of the latest jewels in the Barchester crown! Opening in October 2011, Wadhurst Manor is a 65 bed care home set in a beautiful 11 acre site close to the thriving community of Wadhurst and rail links to nearby Tunbridge Wells, London and the coast.

The home delivers nursing and residential care as well as specialist dementia care in one of Barchester’s unique Memory Lane communities which features life skills kitchens where everyone can be involved in activities of daily living like baking, washing up and setting the table.

The whole home is designed to be a warm and welcoming place to be – a real ‘home’ in the truest sense of the word. There is a range of comfortable lounges and elegant dining rooms to suit people who enjoy socialising as well as those who prefer quieter activities. There is a welcoming coffee lounge at the heart of the home where our residents can sit and chat, partake in an activity or simply watch the world go by!

Our team of highly qualified nurses and well trained care staff focus on the individual needs of each resident developing a tailored care plan for each and every person. The care team is supported by our catering and housekeeping, maintenance and administration teams.

In fact, the entire Wadhurst Manor team warmly invites you to come and visit us as this will help you to appreciate the difference we can make to our residents' lives.

Important Covid-19 Update

The elderly and frail are especially vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus, care providers are putting in place a range of measures to deal with the situation and safeguard those who use their services.

Care homes have mostly cancelled all but essential visits to the home. They are providing telephone-based assessments and placing controls on admissions. Home care & live-in care providers are still delivering care in the community but have a huge demand for support at this time.

All care providers currently have a big work load and may be difficult to reach, please contact the TrustedCare Care Adviser team on 01865 680 331 for further information on services in your local area.
