Our home is next to the local church and school at Rainford, in St Helens, Merseyside, and staffed by dedicated nurses and other care staff. These provide nursing care, dementia nursing and respite care.
We have several lounge areas and two dining rooms, some overlooking the garden. Bedrooms are all single, some with en-suite facilities There is also a separate relaxation/Snoezelen room, with projector. All rooms are centrally heated.
At Victoria Care Home, residents are considered part of the family. We put their health and happiness at the heart of everything we do, and our dedicated team of nurses and carers actively encourage residents to take part in all decisions - contributing to everything from the way their rooms look to the therapies they receive.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Victoria Care Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
