Trewidden Care Home

Trewidden Care home is a residential home specialising in dementia care. Situated in a beautiful location in the South West of Cornwall. The home sits at the top of St Ives, with incredible panoramic views of St Ives bay.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Many of our residents with dementia particularly enjoy our reminisce sessions and our staff love getting to hear about the varied lives of each of our residents. Family members are also very much encouraged to come and join in with our dementia-friendly activities.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Trewidden is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
