Trewan House

Trewan House in Widnes, Cheshire provides day care, respite, dementia and residential care for elderly clients with a range of healthcare needs. Round the clock care is delivered by dedicated and compassionate carers who liaise closely with healthcare professionals.

Trewan House is located in Widnes within easy reach of local shops, amenities and transport services. Our home has many bright and comfortable areas for residents to relax with friends and visitors including five lounges and a charming enclosed garden with outside seating.

All residents have private, fully accessible en suite rooms, with their own phone points and we have shared rooms to support couples. We accept all residents irrespective of gender, age, race, colour, language or religion and we care for both privately funded and Local Authority-funded Residents.

All residents are initially accepted on a four-week no-obligation trial basis. Should a resident feel during this time that Trewan House is not the right place for them, arrangements can be to transfer the Resident to a more suitable location as soon as possible. There is no obligation to stay, or pay for, the full 4 weeks.

We offer a varied social programme of group or one to one activities including gardening, Tai Chi, quizzes and dancing. We also organise outings to afternoon tea dances, theatres, Knowsley Safari Park and meals out at restaurants.

We specialise in freshly cooked, tasty food with plenty of choices. Our dedicated chefs prepare all meals for residents on-site to tempt even the smallest of appetites.
