A warm welcome to The Laurels Care Home, Hetton-le-hole.The Laurels Care Home is situated in the centre of Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear, close to amenities and with good transport links to Sunderland and Durham. Our qualified and ancillary staff provide the best possible care.
Our two-storey care home is newly refurbished to a high standard. We can accommodate general nursing care, residential care, and also residential Dementia care. The home has facilities to provide respite care and can also provide end of life care if required.
All rooms are single with en-suites, and tastefully decorated. We love families to bring in personal items for their relatives to encourage a more homely, familiar environment.
Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. The Laurels Care Home is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at The Laurels. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
