Offering residential and dementia care, Scholars Mews was completely refurbished in 2016 and is cleverly hidden behind a row of terraced houses, and is in keeping with the distinctive characteristic of Scholars Lane. Our retirement home is accessed through a gateway that leads cars to the rear of the home.

All the generously sized bedrooms come with standard size beds, en-suite wet rooms, wall-mounted TVs, and can be personalised as the residents like. Housekeepers keep everything spick and span. Scholars Mews benefits from a luxurious cinema, with a touch of the 1930s about it, numerous spacious and comfortable lounges, a hair and treatment salon, and elegant dining areas.

Friendships don’t have boundaries here; they exist across all levels — between staff, residents, friends and families and the neighbouring Avery care homes. We even extend the hand of friendship to the bees as we have planted bee-friendly plants in our lovely enclosed garden.
