Robin Hood House in Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs by providing respite, residential, palliative, and specialist dementia care. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day.

Our care home is located in Little Gaddesden, a small village within the Ashridge Estate, a short drive from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead. Ashridge is an area of outstanding natural beauty situated in the Chiltern Hills and a National Trust conservation area. The home has a delightful, dementia-friendly garden so residents can enjoy the charming countryside views and changing seasons.

Robin Hood House supports our residents to maintain their independence and lifestyle and has been awarded recognition for the care of its dementia residents. Our experienced carers work individually with each resident to develop a care plan and liaise closely with healthcare professionals to cover all aspects of care as required. We offer a varied social program of group and one to one activities. We welcome visitor participation in the activities we organise and have no restriction on visiting times.

All of our residents have private rooms which they are encouraged to personalize and make their own. Should a new resident want to bring their own items of furniture then subject to passing health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this. We have one shared room available to support couples.
