Puttenham Hill House provides round the clock residential and nursing care for short or long term needs. The home offers all forms of short-stay care including palliative and convalescence.

Short stays are welcome here. It could be a few weeks to experience living here, a month while recovering from an operation or a more long-term move.

An elegant 1920s former private residence, Puttenham Hill House has spacious bedrooms and two beautifully decorated lounges and a large activities room.

Outside, the well-maintained grounds are ideal for wheelchairs. Residents can enjoy a little light gardening in the summer months. It feels very much like home, based in a peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful grounds and wildlife.

A wide range of nutritionally-balanced meals are freshly prepared daily and every effort is made to cater to individual tastes. Residents can either choose to dine outside in the summer when the weather permits, take meals in the dining room or in the comfort of the bedroom.

The activities coordinator ensures that activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility are always available, from music concerts and exercise classes to history talks and reminiscence sessions.

Puttenham Hill House is a small community with a friendly atmosphere. Regular meetings are held with residents and relatives to listen to views and ideas. And there’s no pressure to join in with activities; residents are always free to choose what to do.
