Purley View Nursing Home

Purley View is a 35-bed care home for older people in Croydon. We are able to care for 35 frail and elderly service users who may suffer from dementia and/or may also require palliative care.

Our approach is centred around dignity and choice.

The home has “The Gold Framework Standard” accreditation and is part of an integrated care pathway, which promotes models of care developed to provide expertise in supporting those who are nearing the end of their lives and their families and relatives.

All of our trained staff and many of the care staff have received training to help them with the end of life care, which is delivered in conjunction with St Christopher’s.

As well as therapeutic and nursing care we arrange frequent social events. We understand the importance of a healthy diet and our chef ensures that the menu is varied, nutritious and tailored to individual preference.

We can care for people who are over the age of 65 with the local authority, NHS or private funding.
