Orchard House welcomes you to a happy and relaxed lifestyle in the heart of the beautiful Isle of Wight. The Island offers you stunning scenic surroundings and we at Orchard House offer a homely environment with the support of first class nursing care for adults of all ages who may require various levels of care to enjoy their lives, feeling supported yet independent in every way possible.
Our peaceful secluded gardens give a feeling of space and tranquility. The town of Newport is close by for shops, cafés and the Medina theatre is our near neighbour. Our Memory Lane community offers speacialised care for our residents living with dementia. Walking around our Memory Lane Community you will find a place bursting with colour and different textures that has the feel of a family home. You will find dolls prams and vintage items with posters and pictures of an early era to help recreate times from childhood, adolescence and adulthood, which can help with the well-being of people with dementia.
Meeting the needs of individuals is vital to the healthy well balanced life style we want all our residents to enjoy. Focusing on person-centred care and activities ensures that daily living is as pleasurable as possible Our mini-bus can often be seen around the island enjoying trips to the garden centres, the coast and meandering along country lanes.
Dedication can be witnessed in our home cooking, hospitality and housekeeping taking away all the worries of everyday living leaving time to enjoy relaxation and hobbies. With three attractive lounges and two dining rooms, there is plenty of opportunity to socialise - or find a quiet corner to relax. Call in for a coffee and a tour, you'll be welcome anytime.
We will be pleased to discuss how we can help you and your family

Care homes have mostly cancelled all but essential visits to the home. They are providing telephone-based assessments and placing controls on admissions. Home care & live-in care providers are still delivering care in the community but have a huge demand for support at this time.
