Old Sarum Manor is a brand new, state-of-the-art care home offering 24-hour residential and dementia care in beautifully designed surroundings. It is situated in Longhedge, just north of Salisbury, and opened its doors to residents in October 2020.
The team is led by General Manager Claire Lousteau who strives to provide our residents with the highest standards of care and a safe, happy environment. Both Claire and her Deputy Manager Charlie Osgood are qualified nurses which is an important factor in the safety of our residents. Their exceptional team of staff are highly experienced, well-trained and have been handpicked based on their values.
The outcome is a team of compassionate, motivated individuals who work tirelessly to provide our residents with a fantastic lifestyle.
Old Sarum Manor charges an all-inclusive weekly fee that covers everything - beauty treatments, hairdressing, physio, chiropody, having guests for dinner, trips, activities, newspapers, and much more. There are no hidden extras! This reduces worry and helps residents relax and makes them feel like joining in.
Well-being is absolutely key to peoples’ enjoyment of their later years and we do everything we can to support it. We take great pride in our cuisine which is prepared using the finest, locally-sourced ingredients by our Head Chef and his team. We cook our resident's favourite meals and our mealtimes are happy sociable occasions.
We have a dedicated Lifestyle Team which puts on a daily activities programme based on our residents favourite hobbies and new things they would like to try! This includes trips away from the home and our managers have even arranged trips to the beach, zoo and laps of Silverstone! Whatever our residents like to do, we try and make it happen.
Old Sarum Manor’s top-class facilities include: cinema, bar, garden room, tea room, an abundance of communal spaces, library, landscaped gardens, 100% en-suite wetroom bedrooms, beautiful lounges and dining rooms.
Old Sarum Manor is Vaccinated, COVID-free and Open. We are currently welcoming new residents. We encourage residents to be visited by our loved ones in our beautiful specially adapted garden room and to also keep in touch with video calls on our iPads.
Being brand new, Old Sarum Manor has the latest design features to help combat infection and is therefore well-placed to stay COVID-free.
