New Milton House Care Home

Situated a stone's throw away from Alsager town centre, New Milton House is a purpose-built care home which is very much a part of the local community. The whole team makes an effort to create a 'home from home' atmosphere and we encourage our residents' friends and family to play an active role in the home.

There are 39 well-proportioned single bedrooms at New Milton House, all complete with television points. Amongst the communal areas is a large conservatory for residents to relax in, along with two smaller lounge areas. One of the lounges is fitted with a hearing loop, an obscure device to enhance sound reception and assist those with hearing difficulties.

We have a large dining area where meals are enjoyed or residents can choose to eat in the lounge or their own room if they prefer. The main meal of the day is served at lunchtime (12.30 pm), with a lighter meal, such as soup and sandwiches at dinner time (16.30 pm). All meals offer a choice of menu options. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are available at all times.

In the specialist household, there are two lounge/dining areas including fully operational kitchenettes. These are furnished to a high standard including two large digital TVs and are designed to facilitate independence, whilst maintaining a safe environment for our individuals living with dementia.
