The Lodge Care Home based in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex supports up to 36 residents over the age of 65 years with residential care and dementia care. We have a person-centred approach, tailoring our care to the needs of each resident.
Split over 2 floors, The Lodge, has a 4 person lift ensuring that mobility is not a problem for any of our residents residing on the top floor. We have a comfortable communal lounge, dining room, bathroom facilities on both floors and other areas where residents can enjoy partaking in the daily activities we arrange.
All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. If a new resident would like to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.
We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at The Lodge. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. We regularly enjoy flower arranging, quiz nights, tea parties and bingo.
