We endeavour to create a personalised plan of introduction into the home then a tailor-made program of activity and stimulation for each resident. As a new project here at the Grange we have been lucky enough to employ a staff team that we have worked with for some time, each staff member being highly qualified and dedicated to caring for people in their later life.
Littleport Grange is a period residence set within beautiful gardens. Built by Canon Edward Sparke in 1855 the Grange has also served as the convalescent home for the Transport and General Workers Union in the 1930s, The Grange still retains some of its original Victorian features and extensive work has been completed recently to restore many of these. Other features also include a spa as well as a cinema room available for the residents to use.
Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Littleport Grange is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
Before becoming a resident at Littleport Grange our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
Please do give us a ring to organise coming to see Littleport Grange and to meet our Home Manager. We would be delighted to spend time finding out about yours or your loved ones care needs and share information on the care we provide.

The elderly and frail are especially vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus, care providers are putting in place a range of measures to deal with the situation and safeguard those who use their services.
Care homes have mostly cancelled all but essential visits to the home. They are providing telephone-based assessments and placing controls on admissions. Home care & live-in care providers are still delivering care in the community but have a huge demand for support at this time.
