Kingsgate Care Home employs skilled and professional staff to care for residents who are frail, elderly and in some cases suffering with dementia. The home stands in its own grounds with an enclosed courtyard garden and pleasant walks available in the nearby James Heritage Country Park and the Museum of Rural Country Life.

Friends and family are welcome at any time, hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share meals with residents. The resident cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce.

There is an outstanding activities programme designed by Kingsgate’s Activities Coordinator around the resident’s interests, including: quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible trips out and about.

Before becoming a resident at Kingsgate our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
