Ixworth Court Dementia Village in Ixworth, Suffolk provides specialist dementia care. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day to lead their life as independently as possible.

Before becoming a resident at Ixworth Court Dementia Village our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and family to conduct a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put in place a unique, personalised care plan taking into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

Our residents have their own en suite rooms with access to separate cooking and dining facilities. Ixworth Court Dementia Village has its own supermarket, launderette, enclosed gardens, and a cafe to encourage the residents to manage household routines with the support of the care staff. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas with friends and family to help them feel connected within the community. Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome family participation in the events that we organise and have no restriction on visiting times.
