Ingersley Court Care Home

Ingersley Court is a purpose-built care home situated in a quiet residential area of the rural town of Bollington. Views of the local landmark; White Nancy can be seen from areas of the home. We are idyllically located with the parish church, pubs, local shops and a bus stop all within close proximity of the grounds.

At Ingersley Court, all of our residents have their own bedroom which they are welcome to personalise to their liking. Some of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and we do also have some double rooms that are suitable for couples to share. All of the bedrooms have TV aerial sockets and powerpoints.

We have several tastefully decorated communal areas at Ingersley Court including comfortable lounges and dining rooms. One of the lounges is fitted with a hearing loop, a device used to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties. Outside, we have lovely wheelchair accessible gardens and a patio area for residents to enjoy in the warmer seasons.

We are fortunate to have an Activities Coordinator at Ingersely Court who takes great care in organising engaging, interactive activities for our residents. Our Activities Coordinator always takes our residents' individual hobbies and abilities into account and welcomes suggestions. Our activities calendar often includes hand massages and manicures, arts and crafts, bingo, dominoes, one to one relaxation, reminiscence, quizzes, boat trips on the Macclesfield Canal, coffee mornings, sing-a-longs, karaoke, visiting singers/organists, tombolas, clothes parties and birthday parties. There is also a resident photo library and a residents’ computer which can be used for internet surfing or sending family emails
