Hourigan House Care Home

Hourigan House supports residents with residential, respite, end of life and day care in a safe and caring environment. Trained carers are on hand to help residents whenever needed, 24 hours a day.

All of our residents at Hourigan House have their own bedroom which they are facilitated to make their own. All rooms come fitted with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

At Hourigan House, we have a selection of communal areas for residents to enjoy including lounges, day rooms and dining rooms. Throughout, the home is furnished with large, comfortable seating incorporating up to date safety equipment. At the entrance of the home, we have a lovely patio area with raised flower beds and seating for residents to enjoy the fresh air.

Activities play a big part in life at Hourigan House and we are grateful to have our very own dedicated Activities Coordinator. All of the activities we plan are completely optional and we display the calendar both around the home and in our newsletter. Activities include music therapy, flower arranging, hand massages, visits from entertainers and performances by local school children.
