Hazeldene House

Hazeldene House in Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells, in Kent, is a purpose built supported Care Home for older people with nursing or dementia needs. Residents live in care suites which incorporate ensuite shower room, social space, a dining area and a kitchenette, while they can also spend time with other residents in the communal areas. Set in the countryside on the outskirts of Pembury Village, many suites have garden or courtyard views, which are visited by an array of wildlife.

The home accommodates both physically frail older people and also older people with dementia type illnesses. Full 24 hour nursing care is available for all residents, residents can have a home for life with palliative end of life offered.

Hazeldene House near Tunbridge Wells focuses on providing relationship-centred care and so a high priority is given to fostering and nurturing relationships between residents, their family and friends and the healthcare professionals who work in and visit the home. We believe it is important to understand each resident’s past and present relationships to others and to empower them to talk about their memories and give them a chance to contribute and feel involved. We are keen to ensure that each resident is at the heart of a mutually beneficial relationship between their family and friends, our staff and healthcare professionals.
