Forest Care Centre

Forest Care Centre is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility for adults living with a variety of physical and mental health conditions – including dementia – who require high levels of nursing care. This is delivered by our specialist, dedicated team that works within the care centre, 24 hours a day.

For our residents with dementia, it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and help them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.

Individuals at Forest Care Centre have their own bedroom with en-suite bathroom facilities. There are separate bathroom facilities with specially designed baths, hoists and other equipment where more support is required. Individuals are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms and to bring in pictures and other items, including televisions, internet compatible computers and CD players.

Forest Care Centre has a number of dining rooms and a range of shared lounges to meet individual needs. There are a number of other facilities within the care centre including a sensory room, activity and occupation room and lifestyle kitchen. There are also gardens with walkways.
