Featherton House

Nestled in the idyllic Oxfordshire town of Deddington, Featherton House care home is a lovely Georgian building dating back to 1830. It was converted into a retirement home in 1989, retaining many of its original features.

Deddington is a picturesque village in Oxfordshire and is well served by all major road links, being within easy reach of Banbury (6 miles), Oxford (20 miles) and the M40 as well as having historical Stratford-Upon-Avon only 30 miles away. The village itself offers several local shops, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.

Featherton House benefits from a warm and welcoming ambience, with carefully considered design and tailored care and support services allowing you to live your life as independently as possible. Our approach to care is tailored to meet your personal preferences and varying needs. A detailed care needs assessment of all prospect residents is carried out prior to admission, this allows us to produce a person centered care plan suited to the needs and wishes of each resident.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.
