Elsadene

Elsadene provides accommodation with care to people over the age of 18 years, who have a severe and enduring mental illness. Our aim is to ensure that all service users lead a full and satisfying life with due regard to individuality, dignity and respect.

The large Georgian building comprises of thirteen single bedrooms and is located at 1 Verne Road, Weymouth. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre, beach and local amenities, and is easily accessible via local bus services.

The home has a vehicle which is used for recreational activities, including holidays. The team at Elsadene includes mental health nurses, support workers, a cook, housekeeper and activity coordinator. The staff provide skilled support within a warm and comforting environment.

We provide a safe living environment for younger adults from the age of 18-65. We encourage our residents to gain and maintain as much independence as possible in a safe and supportive environment. Our dedicated care professionals receive specialist training in caring for younger adults - it is definitely not a ‘one-size’ fits all approach.
