Dovehaven Residential Care Home

Dovehaven Residential Home supports individuals over the age of 65 with personal care needs. The home is set in an idyllic location in the Victorian Town of Southport, not far from the beach.

At Dovehaven Residential Home, we offer an in house video service and daily/weekly newspapers are available to all residents on request. We also offer a regular, varied programme of activities ranging from bingo and other games to twice-weekly trips out using our specially adapted minibus. Our home features a hairdressing salon, and a chiropodist, optician and minister are all available to visit.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Dovehaven Residential Home is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!

All the residents at Dovehaven Residential Home have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
