Clifden House Dementia Care Centre

Clifden House in Seaford is a leading specialist dementia care home and supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Round the clock care is provided by our team of dedicated Care Assistants, overseen by our experienced Management Team.

For our residents with dementia, it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and help them to share their life stories with staff and fellow residents.

Our residents enjoy all kinds of activities at Clifden House including shopping trips, outings to the pub, singing in the choir, fishing and playing bowls. It is important to us to ensure that residents remain engaged socially, physically and psychologically with their friends, family and the local community.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Before becoming a resident at Clifden House, our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
