Brendoncare - Otterbourne Mews Supported Living

Brendoncare Otterbourne Mews, part of the Otterbourne Hill complex between Chandler’s Ford and Winchester, supports individuals and couples facing the challenges of living day-to-day in later life. It comprises 15 two-bedroom and five one-bedroom dementia friendly apartments, all for rent, which are suitable for couples and individuals.

Our shared care model ensures that couples can continue living together in later life, even when one or both partners require additional support. With personalised, on-site assistance from our experienced care team, everyday tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and mobility support become easier to manage. Recreational support also gives partners the freedom to take time for themselves, enjoy time out, and feel confident that their loved one is safe and well looked after.

The design of the building has been carefully developed to support individuals living with dementia. Each apartment has been constructed in line with the Stirling Gold Standard for dementia-friendly design, promoting comfort, safety, and independence. Features such as clear orientation, contrasting colours, thoughtful lighting, and secure layouts all help residents navigate their surroundings more easily. This supportive environment allows people living with dementia to feel safe, calm, and at home.

Residents have full access to Otterbourne Hill’s facilities, including the communal lounges and balconies, the library, its large, landscaped gardens, and activities at the community hub.
