Beech House

Beech House Care Home in Salford is situated in a quiet residential area with good shopping facilities nearby, churches and transport links.

The home provides predominantly elderly residential care for up to 36 residents with needs including physical disabilities, respite care and convalescence support packages.

We have a very person-centred approach within our home with the residents, before they arrive here to live we us we gather information about their personal history including what they like and don’t like, their working life, their hobbies, right through to their favorite meals. In this way we can relate to them much more easily, it builds closer relationships between staff and residents and allows us to tailor their care.

At Beech House we have an Activities Co-ordinator, who organises activities which fit in as much as possible with the residents’ preferences. Activities range from board games, crafting, film clubs and even cooking.

Our home maintains links with the local community, we arrange events such as our Halloween party, when families and staff will bring children along to interact with residents and enjoy a buffet together. Carers often take residents out to lunch, and relatives will take them shopping.
